What Watch Brands Can You Service in KL? (Full Brand List 2026)
What Watch Brands Can You Service in Kuala Lumpur?
DeChronos services 50+ watch brands in Kuala Lumpur — covering Swiss luxury, Japanese major brands, German and French premium brands, and select smartwatches. We service most luxury Swiss marques (Rolex, Omega, Cartier, Patek Philippe, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Audemars Piguet, Panerai, and more), the major Japanese brands (Seiko, Citizen, Casio, Grand Seiko, Orient), German favourites (Sinn, Nomos, Glashutte Original, Junghans), and vintage references across all of these lines. We do not service damaged smartwatches in-house; we partner with a specialist workshop for those.
Our master watchmaker, Simon Leong, has trained on multiple brands (Rolex calibre service school, Richemont group technical training, Witschi timegrapher calibration certification) and personally services 80% of watches that come through the workshop.

Smartwatches and Hybrids
We do not service most smartwatches in-house due to specialised tooling and OEM-sealed battery compartments. For the following, we partner with a dedicated electronics workshop:
| Brand | Service Through Us |
|---|---|
| Apple Watch | Battery replacement available — partner workshop, RM 350-450 |
| Garmin | Battery replacement available — Fenix, Forerunner, Venu ranges |
| Withings | Limited service — partner workshop |
| Fitbit | Sensor recalibration — partner workshop |
| Fossil Gen 5/6 | Battery replacement — partner workshop |
| Huawei Watch GT | Battery replacement — partner workshop |
All smartwatch services go through our partner workshop with a 7-10 day typical turnaround.
What We Don’t Service
We are transparent about our limits:
- Apple iPhone, iPad, MacBook — not a watch, even if you ask
- Antique (pre-1900) mechanical pieces — out of our scope; partner museums can advise
- Vintage ladies’ cocktail watches with extremely small movements — we work on them but quote per-piece
- Watches with serial-number security seals still intact — sealed Rolex watches cannot be opened without destroying the seal
- Custom-modified luxury watches with non-OEM parts — we document and quote on case-by-case basis; customer’s choice on whether to proceed
- Watches requiring rare discontinued parts that cannot be ethically sourced — we advise first on service feasibility
- Damaged smartwatches in active warranty — those must go to authorised service to preserve any remaining warranty coverage

For any brand on the list, bring your watch to our Petaling Jaya workshop or arrange a courier pickup from anywhere in Malaysia. We confirm pricing in writing after inspection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you service watches you don’t stock parts for?
In most cases yes — we source parts through independent parts dealers globally. The exception is rare references with no alternative parts source. We quote the watch and confirm feasibility before opening it.
Do you service watches that other workshops couldn’t?
Yes, we take on many vintage and out-of-production references that other workshops turn down. We have part sourcing relationships with Swiss, German, and US dealers.
How do you handle service on rare/vintage watches?
Each piece is documented photographically, parts are sourced specifically for the watch, and we provide detailed written reports. Pricing is per-piece due to varying parts availability.
